Guide for pupils
Sign in on a computer or a phone, see your timetable, lessons, published results and report cards, hand in assignments, sit tests, and check your attendance and fees.
Who this guide is for
You are a pupil at the school. When you sign in you can see your own timetable, lessons, assignments, results, tests, attendance and fees. Nobody else's records are shown to you. Everything works on a computer and on a phone; where the two differ, the steps say so. Each task has a short video beside its steps.
Before you start
Your school gives you your login.
Open your school's address and add
/app/login, or follow the sign-in link your school gave you. The sign-in page shows your school's name.Enter your Email address and Password, and select Sign In. You arrive on your home page.
If you forget your password, select Forgot password?, enter your email and select Send reset code, then type the code from the email and choose a new password. Or select Sign in with a one-time code to get a code sent to your email address instead.
Find your way around
On a computer:
Use the menu on the left: Dashboard (your home page), My Results, Timetable, Tests, Lessons, Assignments, My Attendance and My Fees.
At the top of the screen, EN and FR switch between English and French, and the sun or moon button switches between light and dark. The app follows your device's light or dark setting until you choose otherwise.
Your picture or initials at the top right opens a menu with Profile and Sign out.
Use it on your phone
You do not need to download anything: the app runs in your phone's web browser.
In the phone's browser, open your school's address with
/app/loginadded, and sign in.If the phone offers to install your school's app, select Install app. On an iPhone or iPad, the offer says how: tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. From then on, open it from your home screen. Select Not now if you do not want it; the offer is not repeated.
Use the bar at the bottom of the screen: Today (your home page), Timetable, Tests and Results.
Select More for Lessons, Assignments, My Attendance and My Fees, and for Appearance (System, Light or Dark), Language (English or Français) and Sign out. Your name at the top of More opens your profile.
When a new version of the app is ready, a message says A new version is available. Select Reload.
Change your name, phone or photo
Your school checks changes to a pupil's name, phone number and photo, so what you change here is sent to an administrator first. Your details stay as they are until it is approved.
Select your picture or initials at the top right, then Profile. On a phone, select More, then your name at the top.
Change your First name, Last name or Phone number, and select Send for approval.
To send a new photo, select Add a photo (or Change photo) and choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP image of up to 3 MB. Remove photo asks for your photo to be taken off. If there is no photo button, photo uploads are not set up for your school.
A Waiting for approval box then shows what you asked for, including the photo you sent. You can send changes again while you wait: they replace what is waiting.
To take the request back, select Withdraw request.
When an administrator has decided, the box says so. If your request was approved, your new details are on the page, and your new name and photo are on your school record too, so your teachers see them. Your parents' phone numbers do not change. If it was not approved, your details are unchanged, and the box shows the reason if one was given: correct your details and send them again, or ask your class teacher.
Your email address and password are how you sign in, so they are not changed on this page. To choose a new password, select Change password.
Your home page
Your home page shows the date and greets you with Hi and your name, with your class under it.
Select a tile near the top to open its page:
Latest average shows your average from the most recent published term, and opens your results.
Attendance this term shows how often you have been present this term, and opens your attendance.
Fees Balance shows how much is still owed, and opens your fees.
Tests to sit shows how many tests are waiting for you, and opens them.
Below them, Latest result shows your average, position and number of subjects from the most recent published term. Select View All to see all your results.
See your timetable
Select Timetable in the menu or the tab bar. It shows your class's lessons for today, each with its start and end time; at the weekend it opens on Monday.
Select a day, from Mon to Fri, to see that day's lessons.
Only a timetable the school has published is shown. If there is none for a day, the page says No published timetable for this day.
Read your lessons
Select Lessons in the menu (on a phone, More, then Lessons).
The lessons your teachers have shared with your class are listed by subject. Each shows its title, the term, and any notes your teacher wrote.
Select Open link to open a web page your teacher linked. Select the file's name to open a file your teacher added: it opens in a new tab.
Only lessons your teacher has published for your class are shown. If there are none yet, the page says No lessons have been shared with your class yet. A file opens only from this page; a copied file address stops working after a few minutes.
Hand in an assignment
Select Assignments in the menu (on a phone, More, then Assignments).
Each assignment shows its subject, when it is due and where it stands: To do, Past the due date, Handed in, Handed in late, or Marked with your mark.
Select an assignment to read your teacher's Instructions.
Write your answer under Your answer and select Hand in.
Until your teacher marks it, you can change your answer: write the new one and select Hand in my new answer. Work handed in after the due date is still accepted, and shows as Handed in late. Once your teacher has marked it, the page shows Mark: with your mark out of the total and the Teacher's comment, and the answer can no longer be changed.
See your results
Select My Results in the menu, or Results in the tab bar on a phone.
Each published term is a card with your average, your position in the class and how many subjects you took. Select a term to see its report card below it: each subject's marks, total and grade, then your traits, attendance and your teachers' remarks. On a phone the report card is laid out to read on the small screen.
Select Download PDF for a copy of the report card.
If your school marks out of 20, your subject totals and average are marks out of 20, for example 13.40/20.
Results appear only once the school publishes them. If nothing is shown yet, the school has not published any.
Sit a test
Select Tests in the menu or the tab bar. Each test your teacher has set shows its subject, how long it lasts and how many marks it is worth.
Select Start on a test that is open. Time left at the top counts down.
Answer each question. Your answers are saved as you write: the top of the test says Saving…, then Saved. If it says Not saved — will retry, keep going: it tries again by itself.
When you have finished, select Submit. If every question is multiple choice, your score is shown straight away; if there are written answers, your score comes later. Back to tests returns to the list.
You have the test's length from when you select Start, but no later than its closing time. When the clock reaches zero, the test is handed in for you with the answers that were saved. A question you leave blank scores 0.
If you leave a test part-way, the page reloads, you change device or the connection drops, select Resume on the test: you carry on from the answers that were saved, with the questions in the same order. Your teacher may give each pupil the questions, and the answers to choose from, in a different order.
A test you have finished shows Submitted, with your score when it has been marked. A test that has not opened yet shows when it opens, and one that has ended shows Closed.
Check your attendance
Select My Attendance in the menu (on a phone, More, then My Attendance), or the Attendance this term tile on your home page.
The page is headed My Attendance. The tiles at the top count the days you were Present, Absent and Late, and your attendance Rate.
Below them, Attendance calendar – last 12 weeks shows each school day of the last twelve weeks as a coloured dot, one row per week. The key above it explains each colour: Present, Absent, Late, Excused, On leave and No register taken.
No register taken means no register was taken that day. It does not count against you. If nothing has been recorded yet, the page says No attendance has been recorded for you this term yet.
See your fees
Select My Fees in the menu (on a phone, More, then My Fees), or the Fees Balance tile on your home page.
The panel at the top shows what is Outstanding. If everything is paid, it says All fees paid!.
Under Invoices, each invoice shows its due date and its status: paid, part paid or unpaid.
Select Invoice PDF on an invoice to download, print or share it.
Watch the help videos
Open Help videos under HELP. On a phone it is under More.
The videos for you are in three groups: Start here, Every day and Now and then, each with its length.
Select one to play it. Where there is a phone version and a computer version, you can switch between them. A line marked Coming soon is not recorded yet.
